First thing is to download the Vice Emulator to your computer. You may download it from http://www.viceteam.org/ . You have your emulator, now you need some c64 games (roms). You can download lots of commodore 64 roms from www.c64.com.

There are two main types of c64 roms.
1 – Tape images (T64, tap)
2 – Disk images (D64)

The rom you downloaded will be (mostly) t64 or d64.

After you run the emulator, you may select your rom file from Attach Disk Image or Attach Tape Image menus. (From File) . Or you may just select the ” Autostart disk / tape image ” option under the File menu. I suggest you to use the “AutoStart disk / tape image” option because if you choose other options you have to run it manually. (write “run” and enter or other disk commands etc..)..

So, just select AutoStart disk / tape image – select your rom and click ok. Game will be loaded shortly!
To play the game, you have to adjust the Joystick – Keyboard settings under the Settings –> Joysticks menu. Search other menus for various options.
