Seti@home is a scientific experiment that uses ” Internet – Connected ” computers in the search of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). Telescopes are getting “huge” amounts of data from outer space, but these datas have to be analyzed and one computer is not enough for this work. So, University of California developed “SETI” project. You can participate it by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data. So, with the help of the participants; analyzing data is done by many computers. Thats it! I wish things we find at outer space worth searching for years like that. Or be a good thing for mankind.. Dont want to think opposite.. Anyway, lets find some aliens!
